December Peemail & Holiday Hours

end of summer fun

Happy HOWLidays Pack Parents!

Izzy here, making my list and checking it twice. It’s about 0700 here and my mom just hit snooze again but I have a lot to do before my 1400 belly rub. I need to get the schedule down around the holidays. There are so many butts to sniff, peemail’s to send, parties perfect for human-food snagging…and of course there’s the whole business with the latke-scented eight nights of new bones/balls/chew toys and carefully sniffing every box under that tree I am not supposed to pee on…so I need to make sure to plan it all out in my calendar.

December Promotions
For the month of December, if you refer a friend, your friend will get their evaluation day for free and a free day of daycare will be added on your account as well as paw points for their evaluation day. Just be sure to tell them to put your name and dogs name in the “how did you hear about us” part on the application so we know to whom we should give FREE DAYCARE . Sorry, got a little excited with caps there – these furry paws couldn’t help it. We’re going to sweeten up the deal as well. Any new client that uses the promo code “GOODLIST” can get daycare for just $30 a day for a month if they have their evaluation day in December. Maybe that will help them get on your good list too!  You can pick up DogMa flyers to give to friends – just ask at the gate.
Holiday Hours
We’re in for the holiday home stretch at this point. (That would be the downward dog, in case you did not get my clever graphic trick there.)December and the year’s end is upon us – the time for a lot of planning and traveling. Here are our hours for the holiday’s so you can plan ahead.
Christmas Eve (12/24)12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (regular Sunday hours)
Christmas Day (12/25) –- CLOSED (No daycare – no drop off and no pick up. If you happen to walk by and see pups and two-leggeds playing outside in the yards, that’s the overnight guests.)
Post Christmas Day (12/26)6:30 AM to 8:00 PM  (normal hours)
New Years Eve (12/31)12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (regular Sunday hours)
New Years Day (1/1) –- CLOSED (No daycare – no drop off and no pick up. We are here to take care of overnight guests only.)
December Daycare & Boarding Schedules
Please remember to send in your daycare dates for the month of December and try to do so by the 8th of this month so you can accumulate some serious Paw Points. If you have a normal monthly schedule, please let us know if you don’t plan on coming certain days so the wonderful two-leggeds who take me and my friends can plan accordingly. There are a good few pawfuls of slots reserved just for your pup during the holidays this month and next, so make sure to get on that good list (though, the naughty list is sometimes worth it, not in this case).

That’s all for now – see you next year!

November Peemail!

Happy November Pack Parents!

Izzy here – taking a break from helping my mom with fall leaf raking.  Having obliterated every pile she’s raked up so far, I have a minute to rest laying on top of this nice big warm (empty) black bag thing laying in the driveway. This whole “fall back” back thing is great – loved that extra hour of sleep to fuel my leaf zoomies. I’ve sorted my trick-or-treat dog biscuits to ensure a steady supply until that tantalizing day when the two-leggeds kindly perfume  the house with L’Eau d’Turkey and guests sneak me goodies under the table. And boy, do I have a lot to be thankful for this year! Argh, here comes my mom with that rake thing trying to create more work for me by creating new pile that need running through. So let me hop right to it.

November Daycare & Boarding Schedules

Just a real quick reminder here. If you haven’t already sent in your daycare dates for the month of November, try to do so by the 8th of this month so you can rack up those Paw Points! We also still have slots for the holidays this month and next – so if you haven’t made your reservations with your favorite DC doggie bed and breakfast crew – please don’t forget. Slots fill up fast for all of the snuggles.

DogMa November Events

As a thank you to our patrons that are veterans or are actively in the military, we’d like to offer $20 daycare on 11/10 for our military family. We are open for normal hours that day, so if you want to have a tired pup for your weekend, just shoot us an e-mail requesting daycare that day for your military doggo. Thank you for all that you do!

We do not have any yappy hour events scheduled for the remainder of the year, however we are excited to start our Yappy Hour and Puppy Classes back up in the spring! We will have new and exciting activities in store for our Yappy Hour guests and their friends and we will also start to hold raffles for goods in services from our friends in the neighborhood – all proceeds would go to the Underdog for Rural Dog Rescue. They have adoption events every Saturday and most Sunday’s. We foster some of them dogs and as much as we miss them when they find forever families, we want to make sure everyone knows about these events so more lifetime families are found! Keep posted by visiting their Facebook page for all of their events and adoptions, as well as ways for which you can help support them. While you’re at it, make sure you follow us on Facebook and Instagram as well for cute dog memes, pack photos, helpful information and any surprise promotions.

That’s all for now – smell you next time!

October 2017 Peemail

end of summer fun

Happy October Pack Parents!

Howl-o-weenie is coming up at the end of the month and as a kindawolfie looking dog who is happy to wear horns on trick-or-treat night, I can’t wait! Dogma has a few fall events we are attending and hosting this month, so sit back, grab your closest pup, sip or munch on pumpkin spice and read over my short monthly Peemail to find out more.

October Daycare & Boarding Schedules
Please remember to send my human office pack mates your daycare and boarding schedules for October. If you pre-schedule your daycare for the month no later than the 8th, you will qualify for Paw Points ($2 credit for each daycare day scheduled and used – which can then be redeemed the following month). While there aren’t any major holidays this month, don’t forget that Thanksgiving is next month and then the Decemberholidayorama. We always sell out for boarding for these holidays – it must be from all of the extra snuggles we get! What I’m saying here is that it’s never to early to start planning and book your holiday boarding reservations.
